MOSCOW, Jul 29 (PRIME) -- U.S. companies have organized production and sale of oil from Syrian deposits Conoco, Al-Omar and Tanakh, Sergei Rudskoi, chief of the main administration of the general staff of the Russian armed forces, said on Monday.
“Production and sale of Syrian oil from the deposits Conoco, Al-Omar and Tanakh, located on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River was organized. A criminal scheme of cross-border supplies of Syrian oil is functioning. Syria’s national wealth is plundered to put it in plain words,” Rudskoi said.
